From the archives, Jeffrey Hart’s 1973 criticism of foundations’ social activism

Jeffrey Hart was a professor of English literature at Dartmouth University, a senior editor of and writer for National Review, and a syndicated columnist.
In 1968, Hart worked on the presidential campaign of Ronald Reagan, and he served for a time as a speechwriter for President Richard Nixon. The Dartmouth Review was founded in his living room in 1980.
He died in 2019.
