Populist conservative Tucker Carlson on tax-exemption for Big Philanthropy: scrap it

Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight” show did a segment last night on Microsoft founder and Big Philanthropist Bill Gates’ curious and controversial support of experimenting with “sun-dimming” technology to cause global cooling, and thus apparently mitigate the damages of global warming. “Ooh. That’s not fraught with risks,” said Carlson, likely a leader of populist conservatism in America for some time to come.

Near the end of the segment (about 4:40 into the video clip), as he was concluding a brief interview of Apocalypse Never: Why Environmental Alarmism Harms Us All author Michael Shellenberger, Carlson said

[i]f there’s one thing we can do to improve our country overnight, it’s tax tax-exempt nonprofits. People like Bill Gates make billions. They die, but they continue to distort our society with these tax-exempt foundations. We should tax them immediately. Pay the rate we pay, today.
